Menahem Kahana was born in Ashkelon Israel in 1958. Studied photography at the Hadassah College in Jerusalem. Menahem works as a AFP photographer in Jerusalem since 1987. Menahem won numerous awards and prizes. The "Demonstration" Image was chosen by Helmut Newton as the best photo of the 20iest Century for Time Magazine Millennium issue. Kahana has a new exhibition in the Eretz Israel Museum in Tel Aviv here is a link to a CNN article about the exhibition
