Shimon Lev is a photographer, author, and multimedia artist who lives in a small village outside Jerusalem. He is currently writing a novel based on his travels in India and takes pictures for several travel and documentary magazines. His books include "Gideon in a Tub at the Top of the World. An anthology of travel stories" (publisher Am Oved 2003), "He Who Knows How to Ask" (publisher Hargol 1998), and "Das Land der Bible" – a photographic collection (publisher Styria). He has also published short stories and chapters in various periodicals and books. Shimon has had solo exhibitions in the Citadel Museum in Jerusalem, The Borochov Studio in Tel Aviv, the Photography School Studio in Jerusalem, Das Pergrinaginos museum in Spain, Ami Steinitz gallery in Tel Aviv, and Ein Mabua in the Judean Desert. He has contributed to group exhibitions all over the world. He produced and directed films: "Memory’s Heart" documentary 2002, "Berliner City Tour" 1999, "David my Son" 1998.
